Harvey has just wandered back into the house, exhausted and does have a swollen head and jaw injury so will be off to the vets but at least he is back. Thank you to everyone who has helped

Drone searched but could not see anything in the crops. Tracker dog followed a scent and found fresh poo so it seems he is still in the area and working his way round in a circle towards home. Suspicion is he ran in a blind panic and now needs to work out where he is to come home again. Of course we are not sure of any injuries he has which may be slowing him. The hope is that he will come home overnight

Harvey does not usually stray far from home. His owner and a friend have walked the nearby fields along the edges and in the tractor tracks but it is difficult as there are crops. He is slightly deaf which adds to the problem as he may not hear shouts. We are very concerned that he may be injured and lying in a field and impossible to see. We are hoping that a contact with a drone will come this evening and scan the fields to see if he is there.

Hoping that we have got it wrong and he has run to a nearby house after his accident
