There is a vet in Forest Road - Pets Clinic tel: 020 8928 9999. Have you tried them, Shelagh, to see if they took Poppy there? (sorry, am at work so can't call them myself)

It seems a number of witnesses including bus driver have spoken to police. Two guys where seen picking poppy up after chasing her down blackhorse road. They drove off towards forest road.

Dagenham Brook is nowhere near Hawarden Road! However, hope Poppy is found and is OK.

It may be worth talking to bus company to see if any drivers know what happened.

"Trying to rescue her" but did they? Or did someone else? You need to make her TOO HOT to handle. Also as Shelagh would have said, check with Highways Agency in case they have seen or found her and local council.

BenRobart, Have you contacted the police. If Poppy was involved in a RTA it should have been reported to them. They may have details of where Poppy was taken in their report. I do hope you find her soon.

Apparently Poppy was seen running towards a woman with a pram on Blackhorse lane yesterday, in the direction of Walthamstow market at 1-2pm, then later on two black/mixed race builders were seen trying to rescue her from under a bus - They said they'd take her to a vet (as reported to us by a lady in the area) but no luck finding her yet - If you know anyone who matches these descriptions please let me know!!
