believe there have been sightings but not sure where and traps set, the fb page does not give much information and seems not reaching here either
do hope luey is caught - but pls keep checking kennels for miles around as the romanian i have lost by her original owners was so terrified and very very aggressive she was in dogs home 11 days before they scanned her..........

today is the 16th may and there have been no sightings of luey for a week now....i am admin on the fb page and fairly new there, so we are now trying to gain some momentum and ask locals to help volunteer to poster further afield....the page was set up to plot sightings of the dog but as there is nothing, we need to concentrate of just raising awareness as far and wide as possible in case he is sighted. poor luey..he must be scared now....if anyone is reading here, please come and join the fb page for luey, we welcome new advice and help on the ground...not much has been coordinated since luey went missing and i tried to speak with the owner chris who says he does not want to speak to me for fear of upsetting others involved? not sure what he means or why, but obviously he is distressed and probably not sure what to do for the best..in my experience the first week of sightings are vital for learning what doggie would be doing, and there were sightings but for whatever reasons i dont see any mention of where etc on his fb page...so i am appealing for people to come forward and tell us how they can help, poster etc...thanks and if you read this please come on board. thanks

Thanks Woodville. I will keep sharing.
Have you posted on WikiWirral? It is a local forum and has a pet section.

Poor little fella
sadly no reported sightings in the last few days.
Sorry I don't know anything about the rescue or where he came from
Is there any news on Luey? I have his Doglost link pinned to my Twitter and have tried to get local paper to tweet for sightings - don't chase etc
Does the rescue have a Facebook page? Thanks

Luey was spotted hanging around the football pitches and hospital for a few days after he went missing but has not been spotted for a couple of days now. He is very scared and will run from everyone so its important people don't try to go near or to catch him as this has made him more nervous and left the area

Sorry to see that LUEY SIGHTED is missing.
  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact investigations@doglost.co.uk
  • A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (114653)
  • Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
  • You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
  • Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
  • If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN).
  • If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
  • Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
