Go back to the car park where Winston went missing.....pee in a bottle and spray around area.....your scent will travel in the air and hopefully Winston will pick this up and make his way back toncar park.

Modified my usual cycle route to explore the top side of Bookham Common. Sadly didn't see or hear anything concrete, although briefly saw something dark, larger-than-a-fox and able to jump a log just north north-west of the car park. It might have been something else; I spent a good 25 minutes off-path trying to find it with no avail and no noise/barking. Would Winston bark if spooked and/or scared?

Link to the map below, and I've placed a blue pin where I saw the creature but I stress it might have been another woodland critter; I only got a brief glimpse of it before it disappeared. I'll cycle a similar route tomorrow.

We have just had this posted on Dog Lost Surrey FB page a long shot but Jchard worth checking "Just been tagged in a post posted hour ago asking if anyone in or near Betchworth has lost a dog. Says to ask at the Dolphin or the church. No more details I'm afraid. Have forwarded post to MVDW." Searched from 18:40 - 20:30 today, unfortunately no sighting. Linked is my cycle tracking of the routes and path taken around Bookham forest, which may be helpful.
