hiya guys,
I have just logged in to the site and i was wanting to post on poppys reunited page. However it seems i can't do that at this time.
Anyways i'd just like to thank everyone for there kind wishes, and i hope for those that still have loved pets missing it gives them hope that after all this time, dreams can come true, and may they all be reunited soon.
Poppy is being a little grumpy at the moment with the other dogs but we will not give up.. Its gonna take a while, but hey, thanks to the microchip n loads of fantastic people, we have the rest of our lives.
I will try and comment on the site again later today.
Thanks for just being there over the last 8 years its been a place to visit to just spk to and pray for pops..

Or is this a daft question? Despite being looked after, she should have been checked for a microchip and then reunited with her rightful family; you. Sending you both lots of hugs. Poppy is home!!! Reunited through her chip by the Dog Warden after all these years!!

Spoke to Petch earlier and she said she thinks Poppy remembers her voice but it will obviously take time for her to settle back into home life and with the two other dogs in the house. Petch will sort out a reunited piccie for us in the next couple of days.

Forgot to add-the website are doing work to introduce a lates post option so people do not get lost on different pages but can go straight to the latest post-this will take about 2/3 weeks to prepare-but it means that you can get to the top of the list again.

Petch we are still monitoring all found dogs and cross checking-today we got a Boxer back after 6 months and it was less than a mile away-read the post as we find that the type of people that nick Staffies,Bull Terriers,Bulldogs and Boxers are the same "breed"-keep going-jayne.

Petch, not promising but a dog has been handed into Birmingham Dogs Home, description I have is slim but here goes. Breed - Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Sex - Bitch, Approx Age - 3yrs, Colour - Brindle and white, Distinguishing Marks -, Chip - no, Collar -no, May be worth a call on 0121 643 5211 or a visit might not go a miss either.

HAVE BEEN UP THERE ALL WEEK. HAVNT SEEN THAT PERSON AGAIN.. I WILL KEEP TRYING THOUGH.. HAVE GIVEN MY NUMBER TO A FEW PEOPLE.. THIS AREA WAS 1 OF THE FIRST TO GET POSTERS. Fingers crossed! If you think it could be Poppy-stop fellow dog owners and give them your telephone number-do not put more posters up as you may alert the person who may have Poppy-just show the photo to people you can trust NOT to children who may just run and warn the person. So get a sheet with your phone number written on loads of times and cut them up ready now. A lot of people may not want to talk to you in the street but they may ring later anonymously-Good luck!

THOUGHT I SAW POPPY LAST NIGHT ON MY WAY HOME.. IT WAS DARK AND BY THE TIME I HAD TURNED THE CAR ROUND SHE AND THE PERSON WITH HER HAD VANISHED..SEARCHED THE IMMEDIATE AREA FOR OVER 20MINS.. POSTERS ALREADY IN THE AREA.. I DRIVE THROUGH THAT AREA EVERY DAY AND ITS CLOSE TO WHERE PETCH WAS PICKED UP... WILL BE BACK UP THERE TONIGHT IN THE DARK.. WITHOUT THE CAR.. IF POPPY IS NEAR PETCH WILL NOW. FINGERS CROSSED.

DID YOU KNOW THAT VETS DONT SCAN FOR A MICRO CHIP UNLESS THE PERSON WHO TAKES THE DOG TO THE VETS ASKS THEM TO. OR THEY ACTUALLY TELL THE VET THEY FOUND THE DOG. I THINK ANYONE TAKING A DOG TO THE VETS FOR THE 1ST TIME SHOULD AUTOMATICALLY BE SCANNED.. AT THIS POINT IN TIME I REALLY AM BEGGINING TO WONDER IF I WILL EVER SEE POPPY AGAIN..
