I took the picture. I am a vet nurse. I called the RSPCA and the police. I also delayed my train journey for an hour to sort it out. When I left she was with the train staff and I also said if they still have her when I get back I will happily take her home tonight and take her to work tomorrow to be scanned for microchip - 2017-03-11 18:24 Lisa P - Regional Co-ordinator, Central

- bedspol have informed me that rail staff called to say a person turned up and retrieved the dog somehow and took it away on a lead, I cannot confirm that it was an owner and staff were unable to assist in identifying them.

Just called staff- they are trying to send me a picture, local beds pol officer has just turned up and so we’ll have to wait and see if they can secure the dog safely, will update when known

ONGOING call at this time to a stray dog running around BEDFORD ST JOHNS rail stn, hungry and scared but unable to catch it. Small youngish dark or black staffie possibly.
If you feel may be your dog DO NOT GO NEAR THE RAILS - speak to rail staff.
Have advise re ways to gain trust and maybe try to tempt with food.Staff will try to catch if they can.
