Thankyou to everyone still looking out for Peggy. I find it so distressing, after over a year, that I do not check my messages as often as I used to, so sorry for the delay. I will try to find the courage to log-in more often Regards to all LindaLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Sorry, I was wrong......Peggy had the start of a 'speckled' belly when she was taken, so by now they could well have grown into spots!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi Linda Thanx for the Lincs echo info, they are next on my list. Harvey should make it into the Advertiser on Friday according to Dan in the news room! Also, I have just been on the 'weimaraner forum' website for any news of Harvey (which has made me feel even worse than I aready did!) and came across a lady from Lincolnshire who was discussing Harvey's case on the chat pages. She has a weimaraner and has just taken in a JRT stray pup. It doesn't look as though she's registered it with the doglost website. it may be a longshot as it's a lying down photo, showing a mainly white dog with one brown ear showing and spots on it's underbelly! It does look very small but I have alerted Minnies family & Jayne incase it may belong to another desperate family that hasn't registered yet. It may be worth you having a look just in case!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

thank you Haveys mum and Alfies mum, it's great to know we have so much support in our search for Peggy. Wherever she is now, she has been away from us longer than she was with us........7 months!! We had her for 6 months. I don't know about everyone else in the 'doglost world' but I spend my whole time looking closely at every dog I see, wherever I go,just in case it has been on this site, but no luck so far. No feedback from various posters either. Where do all these dogs go?? Linda Good luck to you bothLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

a HUGE thank you to Eris, LMale and Astrids owner for all your support....couldn't thank you earlier as my computer has been 'away' for repair. Up and running again now, but got a lot of catching up to do....thanks again Linda JLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

If anyone is going to the CLA game fair in July at Blenham Palace (hopefully she will be back before then!) take some posters and ask the stalls to put them up. Terrier owners from all over the country will be heading there it's a mecca for the country set. Same applies to anyone who has lost lurchers or gundogs. - Hummm... I wonder if we could get a stall holder interested in putting up their own posters at these shows?Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I have been in contact with Lincs FM who have tried to investigate the recent spate of dog theft, but to no avail. They seem to want more individuals on board who have reported the theft to the police and they then may investigate further. Let me know if you wish to contact them.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

We had our Jack Russell stolen along with my husbands Land Rover on 17th January near Kettering last year - we thankfully got her back nearly 2 months later. Keep putting up posters around Halifax where the dog may have been sold on. She may still be around there somewhere - ours turned up in a multi-storey car park in the centre of Northampton. We kept putting up posters in pubs, near taxi ranks and bus stops, laundrettes, parks - anywhere we could! Good Luck with your search for Peggy and never give up hope.
