I have every confidence in the warden that scanned this lad to have done several full body scans, she is very thorough. She has been proactively searching for his owner sharing to facebook groups and to the council pages. I do know she has followed up all possibilities given to her including speaking to Larrys owner.
No one has come forward to claim him and as he has now served his 7 days he lovely new home lined up

Jodieb Microchips don't always read and can be removed. Your friend should contact the number listed to check. If Larry was stolen he could end up anywhere.

Hi please can you confirm that this dog is for certain not chipped? My friends dog Larry was stolen he's around 5 months old and a black pug named Larry. He was stolen from Doncaster but who knows he could be further away now x

This lovely boy is still unclaimed and in the care of the Poole warden. Local volunteers have popped some posters out in the area he was found (thank you Salli) and is being shared through social media

The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
