Hi. Thanks for your message. We went to see the cat in Stalybridge last night, but unfortunately it's not him. I hope his owners are found soon though. Fingers crossed Fonzie is found soon too :( Last edited: 2017-02-13 08:50:08 by Kellery

There is a cat very like this found in Stalybridge. A volunteer is going out to check for a microchip later today. The owner doesn't think it is Fonzie but it is very similar-I say it because the finder isn't sure if it's a neutered male or a female. Has a small area of fur missing from a front leg I think and looks as if it has been wearing a collar? Fingers crossed. Looks a lovely cat. Hope Fonzie is home safe soon x

Neutered cats dont usually go too from where they live. check all outbuildings including empty houses, cellars etc in case locked in. Put some tuna in his dish, and call him; night/early morning is best. Rattle some treats too. Put his blanket (Unwashed) into a clean container, along with something with your scent on too. Leave in the garden in a sheltered spot, or hang on the wshing line if dry; used towels too. Empty the contents of the vacum on to the garden as his scent will be there. Wipe his scent on your garden fences, gates, doors too. Walk around the area holding an object with his scent on, and rattle some dreamies. Someone may be feeding him, but early days yet. Try a squeaky toy as it may attrct his attention. Whilst looking for him wear the same deodorant for eg, you normally use, as he will recognize the scent. Poster around the area, and put "Lost" posters through doors too. Paws xd.
