I feel that these pups was the target myself too but I still believe it is someone you know and as for the psychologist I not so sure about this what he/she as said, but they where taken to be sold on, Iver for drugs money or something eels, but keep asking friends if they had mention to others about the pups or even your children depending on how old they are if they have spoken to there friends about them as this could have been told to the wrong type of person, keep up your posting and keep making them hot, also as I said in my last posting you must get to pet shops and ask questions to see if they have been sold pups or been approached, because they would want to get all the pups off loaded as soon as possible. So sorry these little puppies haven't been found yet. It will be easy to keeep them hidden at the moment as they are so young. Keep an eye on ads for Gsd puppies as they will try to sell them on when they are 8 weeks old. They may have been taken out of the area so we need all dog lost helpers to keep looking. Good luck with the search and stay safe and well little babies.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi Folks, Sorry for not posting but we have been so busy trying to look into possible leads, all to no avail. These puppies seem to have vanished into thin air so this leads the police on both sides of the border to believe that the puppies were the target. It is soul destroying especially for the kids. They are devastated. One psychologist said that the people that have done this are only one step away from harming people or children. Please keep your eyes and ears open. Thanks JKLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

So sad that these little puppies have been taken away from there mum. I am wondering how the thieves managed to take them from their mum. Most dogs would guard the litter from strangers which leaves me to think that she must have known and trusted the person who stole them. Good luck with the search. Hope they are all returned to you soon.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Am praying you get them all back. Would it be worth postering the ferry ports? in case the ratbags try to bring them to the mainland via e.g. Dublin-Holyhead? Keep safe little ones.xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

hi, I would go to all vets in the surrounding area and give them a poster and ask them to look out for very young pups (vets know if a pup is under 8 weeks!) If they are to be sold on soon they would be too young for injections. Also keep an eye on all buy and sell, ads for free and newspapers selling dogs as for the next while because they may hold on to them for a bit. bestt of luck! I will look out for them also. Helen.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

dekkaann I agree with you someone knew these pups was there, so I would be looking at friends who may have said something about the pups and may have been over heard in a pub or children telling family and friends this all as to be considered, because nothing else was taken. The next thing to look for is adverts in local papers but also Pubs where a lot of dogs get sold on too also put posters up in the pubs if the Land Lord and Land Lady allows , pet shops that are not worried about papers and this would be a way of get rid of the whole lot with out question so go to pet shops that sell pups and give posters but most of all poster like mad make them hot, I see you say you live on the border so even go into the nest county and poster there to, Pubs and pet shops also go to as many vets as you can with posters. I feel these dogs are for the thief's to make quick money and to get shot of them soon. I do hope you will get news soon of these poor babies, also the mum may need to have go to the vet as she would be under a lot of stress and she is still producing milk. Who knew they were there? workers, callers to house, even friends of any children in the family, talk in local pubs? It appears the pups were the target, had they been advertised? Check with local garages in case car pulled in for petrol or directions, may be on camera. So wish these pups all the luck, keep safe.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

This happened to our pups in July, but they were almost 6 weeks and were being weaned. I understand how worried you must be. With me, it just turned into rage and drove me. 2 months later, 2 of the puppies are home. Please listen to the advice on this website - you won't find better anywhere. The helpers are so dedicated and so knowledgeable. I'm thinking of you. Good luck.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Oh no!!This has made me cry....to think there are 7 defenceless little puppies out there who cannot yet feed for themselves. Stolen by some EVIL BA****DS who only have thoughts for themselves. The poor mum must be going frantic. Let alone the owners. What is this world coming to?? I do hope they find who is responsible and throw the book at them. I hope and pray the owners get them back as soon as possible. Shall watch this one. Stay safe babies and mummy dog. xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

EXTRA EXTRA HELP PLEASE EVERYONE ON THIS. What can anyone say !!Posters need to be displayed as soon as possible on notice boards, lamp posts, entrances to parks, dog bins and on cars. Take posters to vets, pet shops, postmen (for sorting offices), milkmen, dustmen, street cleaners, taxi drivers, schools, pubs, youth clubs, newsagents, post offices, takeaways, dog training clubs, supermarkets and car parks. Hand out reduced-down posters or cards to people - especially dog walkers - and deliver to houses and businesses. Police stations, Dog Wardens, the RSPCA and all rescue centres need checking frequently and preferably visited in person by owner or someone who knows pups well. Poor babies, please stay safe until you are found x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I live in Faughart, Dundalk. Ireland. On Saturday, between 3pm and 4.15pm I had a litter of 7 3 week old German Shepherd puppies stolen. They were unweaned and we now fear for them as time has passes. Where I live is right on the border area, 6 miles from Newry in Northern Ireland and 5 miles from Dundalk in the South of Ireland. I am 1 mile into the south of Ireland. My neighbour who was trimming his very large palm trees saw a red hatch back car park outside my house. As he was working in a mechanical hoist and with a chain saw, they had ear protection on, and they thought that the people were visitors. He saw one exit the house about 3.45 pm but once again never thought much of it as we tend to have a busy house, as both my wife and I are from large families. It was only a matter of minutes later, that to speak to his helper on the ground, that they both turned off the machines and removed the ear protection, that they heard our alarm ringing. They immediately ran and saw the patio door smashed and notified the Gardai. When I returned home at 4.30pm The Gardai pulled up and told me of the reported crime. We checked the house but nothing was stolen. The female German Shepherd was running around and 30 mins lapsed before we realised that the puppies had been stolen. They were in the Boiler room that was adjacent to the house. This was the only things that was stolen. Since then we have not heard sight or sound about them. There were 7 puppies, 3 males one black and gold and 2 sables. there was one black and tan female and the rest were sable colour. They were not microchipped. I had booked my vet to call out yesterday, Monday. I have attached a photo of three of the puppies, showing the colour differences between sables and black and tans. Hopefully you can help. I have notified the ISPCA, the USPCA and it has been posted on various sites. I have also ran articles in all the press that will run the story. Regards...e mailLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
