Per the standard advice from Admin below, please do contact the microchip company to tell them he's missing and check the contact details are up-to-date, inform the dog warden on 0300 456 0107, and inform police 101 (Wilts Police do register missing dogs - important as close to A303). It's quite likely he will find his own way home in due course - possibly in the small hours - so please leave gates and doors open, and put his bed, with food and water, somewhere he can get to it. Also, please call around all local vets, and further afield up/down the A303: if he's been picked up by a passing motorist he may well have been taken "out of area". - 2017-01-31 16:54 AlisonH
