Sadly Jake was found but not alive this morning by his owner Robert after a bitterly cold night in this area,not terribly far from where he ran off. Whether it was cardiac arrest after the jet spooked him or the temperatures last night we'll never know.

Have confirmed with owner that they live many miles away, so unlikely that he would make his way home.
I have a friend who lives not far away who used to own a Beardie & she will keep an eye out.

Owner is Robert Stewart. Jake went missing from his parents house, so is unfamiliar with area. I have advised re contacting chip company/local vets.
Have shared to various Bearded collie fb groups (I am a member of several).
Will forward general advice re scenting etc
