What a sad story! If he can't be bothered maybe the dog can't be bothered finding his way home or found somewhere better! May explain why he ran away in the 1st place. Good luck boy, hope your happy now.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I sincerely hope this dog is not actually called "Rottweiler". The lack of information from the owner is a concern. I hope this little lad has found someone to love and look after him properly.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I feel the same as a lot on here if the owner is not that bothered which seems the case I truly hope this boy as found a loving home and not fell in the hands of another who will not worry about him. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

without wishing to be judgemental, perhaps the pup just took matters into his own hands. hope he's safe and loved wherever he is.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Sounds like the owner just expects everyone else to find his dog for him...Maybe if the rottie has been taken in by someone else it's the best thing for him??Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Ok, owner called me back. He has not got any posters out and when i told him that postering really is the key to getting his dog back as he has no id on him and that 400-600 posters is what he should be aiming for as a start, he told me that that amount seems a lot and that he doesnt really have the time as he has 5 kids and lots of other things to do. I told him i have 8 and that i made the time because i wanted my dog back........ The conversation ended with him saying he would try to get some posters out.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I just called owner and asked them to call Millbrook RSPCA. As I was leaving this afternoon I saw them taking a youngish rottie to the "behind the scenes" kennels. Couldnt even see if it was male or female but worth a phone call I think.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I've sent you a photo of a 10 month old which I found on the web, though must admit it looks a bit older than that to me. See what you think.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

As soon as Admin receives a photograph, the poster will be emailed out to helpers. Posters need to be displayed as soon as possible on notice boards, lamp posts, entrances to parks, dog bins and on cars. Take posters to vets, pet shops, postmen (for sorting offices), milkmen, dustmen, street cleaners, taxi drivers, schools, pubs, youth clubs, newsagents, post offices, takeaways, dog training clubs, supermarkets and car parks. Hand out reduced-down posters or cards to people - especially dog walkers - and deliver to houses and businesses. Police stations, Dog Wardens, the RSPCA and all rescue centres need checking frequently and preferably visited in person by owner or someone who knows this dog well. Stay safe boy, until you are home x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
