Hello everyone! Just wanted to update you all with some amazing news! Tess turned up this morning out of the blue, my dad saw her walking down the drive and he thought he was seeing things! She's covered in soil & mud and her claw area are pretty raw and red, so we think she must have been stuck down a hole & must have dug herself out. Thank you so much for all your help & advice, you have been amazing! Rhian xxx

Poster poster and more postering. Social media I have shared on a number of missing dogs pages, but friends get friends to share along with a photo. Share the DogLost poster with friends - get them sharing. My friends dog was missing with no sightings for more than a week and she was convinced he had died, but then a farmer spotted him sleeping in one of his fields, had seen the posters and contacted the owner. The dog is safe and sound.

No matter how hopeless you feel there is always hope... NEVER give up. Search as often as possible. Have you tried scenting and putting down her bed? Have you phoned trackers? Xx
SUSIE
Rhian not sure whether you have but please contact Greenfield Kennels in Morriston which is where any stray dog would be sent. 01792 771839 (opening hours 9am-5pm 7 days a week) also please email with a photo Many Tears Animal Rescue (manytearsrescue.org) They will put a photo of Tess up on their website! Good luck and don't give up searching!

I live in SA6 so will share on my fb xx
Make sure to check all your nearest rescue centres and give them posters. Give posters to vets as well, and just poster everywhere!! Posters really do help :)

Rhian You need to get lots of posters out there so more people are looking. Target any stables in the area as horseriders are higher up and may spot Tess, farms any anywhere there are outbuildings and do try to check as many holes as you can in case Tess is stuck and anywhere else she could have got caught up. Keep going back to where you last saw Tess and put posters up near the possible sighting. If Tess could find her way back home make sure she can get back into the garden.

NEVER give up she is your baby, search from sunrise to sunset xx maybe contact www.k9trackers.co.uk see if she can bring her tracker dogs to see if they can find her scent. She would also offer good advice. Have you tried laying a trail of your urine down from where lost to home provides there is danger in between of roads? Putting out her bed and familiar smells to try and get her to scent back? Just
Keep searching she needs you and vice versa xx
Rhian
Yeah my dad went with our other dog out up to the fields and the dog couldn't pick up her scent. We live quite rural so there's a lot of rabbit holes and badger holes, so many I wouldn't know where to start :/ x
Skywalker99
Have you checked rabbit holes with hose pipe and funnel? Left something that smells of you near where last seen? How did she go missing? You need posters everywhere, plus put on Facebook pages like harveys army, lostbox etc and every local Facebook page you can find.
Rhian
Thank you all, for all your help. I'm very grateful!. Feeling low yesterday and this morning, really missing her now & it's really starting to hit home that she's gone & might not come back. I hope we find her :( just hope she's not suffering wherever she is! X

Idiot person, how can you see a dog loose on its own be within distance and not get it to safety 😡 Get posters up everywhere cafes, petrol stations, ask taxis, lampposts etc. If close to home perhaps put his bed down at the point lost as often they will follow their scent trail back. If the place lost from is close to home and free of road
Danger I will put a trail of your urine from the spot lost to home as he
May pick up your scent.
May also be worth calling or emailing www.k9trackers.co.uk as she has a
Scent dog that tracks down other dogs. I know she is very busy abut she would also offer invaluable advice xx just never stop searching. Go out to place lost and wander round late at night and very early morning while it's quiet and take your other dog on a lead with some smelly treats and rattle them whilst calling. He recognise the voice, be hungry or come out to your other dog. Xx fingers crossed, please keep us updated
Rhian
There was a sighting of a jack Russell with a brown face like Tess, in Pumsaint area, a few miles down the road, but the person didn't pick the dog up, so unsure if it was her and still no sign at the moment :( X
