Possible sighting at tree walk weston favell villiage at 10 this morning, lady got close & saw red collar but dog ran off into houses x

No due to the tree walk all gardens have gates at the front of the house to give extra security. His bed is out next to the gate any way but no luck so far. We have spoken to k9tracker and they believe he is aware of being home but is waiting for us. If he had walked off on a normal day he would find his way back no problem. We were confident he would be back that day but due to the circumstances he is too scared and needs "collecting" as such. If this is the case it is going to be very difficult. Fingers crossed he sees us and comes out soon

You mentioned on fb that Bailey had been seen very close to home...os he able to get into your back garden from the street? If you have a gate maybe that could be left open for him (doesn't have to be overnight, even during the day whilst people are at school/work so there's not much foot traffic in th area) and you could leave some a scent object for him. Maybe if he can get there he would be inclined to wait for you as it's not in public? Just a thought

Exactly right. Hopefully this will work. Im bringing the smelliest food i can think of!!! Prob a good idea for anyone else searching on foot to not pass through there too much as too many people may spook him.

Thank you! I've been advised by k9tracker that he is searching for us so although he was out side the house he didn't come home. He won't give up looking. He didn't finish his walk like routine haha. I am also going to be sitting where he last was around that time and I've been advised to not even call his name just take food and keep still and allow him to come out when comfortable. I'm hoping it works as walking the streets all day every day is taking its toll when poorly and I have 3 young children.

I'll go back out in the morning, but I'll take a different approach and go for a static position in the tree walk. He sounds as though he is close by and will likely gravitate towards there, maybe I'll spot him. I can do an hour or 2 before work, most sightings seemed to have been 9-10 ish so fingers crossed!!!

I heard Bailey was seen in Standens Barn today, there were a few people searching in that area I ran into. Where are you sharing the details of the sightings please, I'll follow it to narrow down the search when I go back out tomorrow am.

There was a sighting of a black dog with a red collar walking into bellinge around mid day Thursday. I can only imagine he carried on which is not an area he knows or that some one has taken him in. Not sure which way he ran at the time due to the car chase going on and he just disappeared.

There ere reports last night that a dog was hit by a car & taken to local vets, owner has looked into this & confirms this was not Bailey - Bailey is still missing x
