I hope police are involved , this poor man what is wrong with people to act like this ? Terrible ! I really hope he has help to find his dog and has a nice outcome and be safe x x

There are times I truly despair of the human race- beating up a guy who is homeless and taking his beloved companion as well as his coat and phone. As if he had an enviable life to start with...

But then I followed the link that Max left and read heartwarming comments from people there who care about his predicament and are already offering to chip in for kennel fees, plus other things that will make this man's life just a tad more comfortable again. But like yourself Americanne, I'm also very happy to contribute if necessary. I am certain that,one way or another, these two will be reunited.
And I am thankful that the caring folk still outweigh the others.
It will be a bleak future when that changes.

I am not being patronising, but will his homeless owner be able to afford to get him out of kennels? Happy to help if he can't.

Four against one - oh dear - I hope that they all got some sort of injury from the 'poor guy' - homeless ex-military - I hope he still remembered all his training and used it to good effect -- waiting with baited breath to learn his dog is safe. I am a retired MOD nurse -- need to add a fountain of poppies here - but not allowed. Sorry but stolen / frightened by Fireworks and Rainbow Bridge etc. has caused streams of tears to flow tonight - and it is not even NOVEMBER.

I hope the owner was not seriously injured, what an awful thing to have happened. It will be great to see them reunited very soon.
