- I am Alfie's owner. He broke free a few months ago when we first had him. He was found in a wooded area and had been hiding there overnight. He is a very nervous rescue dog who is terrified of people. I think he maybe hiding around Shoal Hill common as that is the direction I saw him running in. He is familiar with that area. The retractable lead is hanging around his legs which scared him even more as it scrapes along the floor. I am hoping he makes his way back home when he starts to get hungry. Thank you for everyone's help.

- Please can anyone otu searching follow hedge lines, because that is what a frightened dog will usually do, as that is where he may have got the lead caught.
