Possibly stolen. I'm really not sure how they got out of the garden as there doesn't seem to be any way out. The garden has cages around it and is very secure. It was bin day so it is possible someone climbed on a bin and got into the garden. There is also a chair by a fence in my garden so that could be a way out, but I can't say stolen for sure. They literally vanished while I was in the shower. My other dog would usually bark at everything but she is on medication at the moment, and was in the bathroom with me.
