Great news. As neuterd he probably wasn`t too far away. It is treu that cats cant see well in complete darkness but are better able to see in semi darkness. They are long sighted. Cats will follow their own scent. Stay close now Raffles:-)

Just spoken to a very relieved owner and Raffle's has returned home safe and sound

Call raffles late and night and very early morning when less background noise...cats don't see very well and can easily get lost.

Shd = short haired domestic, although I've usually heard it described as dsh.

Thanks Sharon, I have contacted FAITH and this cat is elderly and not chipped, although I will send a screen shot to the owner to double check

Advise given to walk the dog and see if he can sniff the cat out as JRT have excellent noses and also to put something of the cats on the washing line so the cat can pick the scent up, litter tray outside and also look during evening hours as cats are nocturnal xxxx
