Thanks for your messages Bosuns dad. Lets see if the local press will run a story on Bosun and that someone somewhere will recognise him. Have you had any luck with the video link?Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Dear All, Thank you so much for your continued support, we have met up with Buddy?s owner David, this was an inspirational experience and has boosted our moral, which was starting to flag a little, since this we have distributed over 90 letters to all vets in the Bristol Gloucester and Bath areas, enclosing 5 posters each, next week we intend to start send letters and poster to the vets in Somerset. It would be great if we can get Bo back for Xmas. Best regards Malcolm and FamilyLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Bosun, we are still searching for you, and won't turn off the heat until you are reunited with your family. A copy of your poster is now in a plastic folder at my local vets surgery on a table for clients to peruse, (TA8 Somerset). People do travel and hopefully anything that we can do to bring you home has to be worh a try. Hang on in there Bosun, it's your time for the blue zone, we are having a good success rate in the South West so please show yourself. You will be home soon, we don't give up. Posters printed, and will be put up in Somerset, TA8. Bosun can not have just disappeared into thin air. Riding on the success of Buddy's return, let's turn up the heat on all of our South West dogs that are still missing. Hang on in there Bosun, we are looking for you. Can all Dog lost helpers who visit this page, please email a copy of Bosun's poster, to all of their friends and family where ever they live in the UK. As we all know, missing dogs are not always found in the area in which they were lost. We just need that one phone call. Thank you. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Dear All, a couple more sightings of a dog matchining Bo's description, both around Saltford Golf Club, the last one at 10:30pm on 20 Sept, Thursday evening (Beresford Close, garden ajoins the golf course), these sightings are between 2 and 2.5 miles from the earlier reported sightings in Bath (reported on the 10 Sept), if this isnt Bo then a stray dog matching his description seems to be still in the area, Thank you all for your continued support. Dear All, Thank you for your support and private emails offering help, we have had a further sighting in the same area of Bath (now 4) so it is still the case that a dog matching Bo's description is in or around that area, we have tried and tried to find him, without luck, I dont know, but one idea is that he goes to ground during the day and scavenges during the night, has anyone experienced this before??? We wont give up trying to find Bo, and hope that one day soon he will return home with his family, thank you all again. Malcolm and family.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Dear all, still no luck but there was another sighting of him on the Lower Bristol road in Bath on Wednesday 22nd Aug . He was seen crossing the road going up towards Twerton, this is now the third sighting of a dog matching the desciption of Bo in the area, we are sure he is using the river Avon through Bath as a corridor, if not Bo then another dog is stray in the area. Please keep your eyes and ears open. Malcolm and FamilyLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Dear All, unfortunately after two long days of searching we were unable to locate a dog matching the description of the dog spotted on the 16/08 in Bathampton Lane, however another sighting of a black and white dog on the evening of 17/08 did result in us capturing a stray terrier which was in a pretty bad condition, we have taken her to Bath Cats and Dogs Home, my daughters have named her Edie. We have also stretched our advertising campaign to cover Gloucestershire, in addition to Bristol, Bath and Somerset, this will run daily for the next week, we are waiting for any information. Malcolm Ps Keelah, I will call you tomorrow, thank you for your offer of help. MLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

What a lovely photo of this funny boy sitting in the pot! Do hope that yesterday's sighting turns out to be handsome Bosun and that he is back home with you very soon. Sounds like your postering campaign is going great guns - well done! I don't think you need any more encouragement on that front!!! I look forward to seeing Bosun in the Blue area but, in the meantime, stay safe boy. xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Posters need to be displayed as soon as possible on notice boards, lamp posts, entrances to parks, dog bins and on cars. Take posters to vets, pet shops, postmen (for sorting offices), milkmen, dustmen, street cleaners, taxi drivers, schools, pubs, youth clubs, newsagents, post offices, takeaways, dog training clubs, supermarkets and car parks. Hand out reduced-down posters or cards to people - especially dog walkers - and deliver to houses and businesses. Police stations, Dog Wardens, the RSPCA and all rescue centres need checking frequently and preferably visited in person by owner or someone who knows Bosun well. Stay safe Bosun, and come home soon x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
