Does a post mortem usually take place in these circumstances?

I did a lot of work when Ella went missing bless her.
Ella was a pure bred GSD .
We are looking for a GSDX owner
Fingers crossed

Meg you are thinking of Ella and this isnt her! I would also say that a dog that has been in water even in a short space of time doesnt tend to look in good shape! I personally dont think this dog will have been there for any length of time.
GingerScouser
ClaireC Yeah, she was collected by the RSPCA it says in the article.

Meg Without sounding cruel, a body looks a lot worse than this after a year or two, especially in water xx
