- What a sad series of events.
RIP boy. So sorry this happened to you. - 2016-07-14 14:45 Phoebesmum
- Shadow was given away - not stolen. Only half the story here and end result is a dog let down by humans. Apparently, Shadow became aggressive in the hands of new owners - encouraged to kill cats. He looks such a lovely dog - could have been a different story if he was properly trained. RIP Shadow.

- Seems like anyone can take a dog to vet and request they be pts. If vet had checked m/chip they would have found he was flagged up stolen. Just hope law is changed x

- apparently the story is 'was rehomed as didnt get on with sibling, was found what seemed the perfect home and contact was promised for life to his old owner. A couple of months ago all contact suddenly stopped and it was found that Shadow had been given away. Shadows old owner has tried everywhere to trace him to ensure wherever he is, he is safe and loved but he seems to have vanished off the earth. If whoever has him is not coming forward for fear of losing him, please get in touch, no one wants to remove him from a good home but we need to know he is ok. Last known in Burnley Lancs but could be anywhere now' There is no mention of his epilepsy and not having any medication or reference to being stolen.

- Posh Paws is a grooming salon NOT a rescue, when was the last sighting of this dog and where ?
Are you 100% he has been stolen and not just rehomed again ?Last edited: 2016-07-09 16:05:09 by kyzar - 2016-07-09 10:51 Rose

- You state stolen so has this been reported to police?
re-homed by Posh paws - are they are rescue or what?
Has Shadow been stolen since re-homed by posh paws?
If reported to police - and they have issued a CRN ( crime reference number)
We can then switch over to stolen only once we have this CRN.
We also will need the police force dealing with this - 2016-07-08 00:11 Vegc
- I know it may be a bit too far away, but we spotted a Staffordshire/boxer looking dog running through halton village in Runcorn yesterday at 9pm with no collar. He had very similar colouring to your dog. We reported it to the dog warden, so it may be worth ringing the Cheshire warden. I am led to believe that some dogs can cover a fair distance when lost but it may not be related at all. I thought iit best to let you know. I hope you find your dog soon.
