Just want to add a message from the owner on FB. Piggy was being walked from the Hampton Poyle entrance to Bransons concrete path down towards St Mary's church car park. They turned right and through the hedge row shortly before the church and straight across towards the river. They then turned right back along the river towards the big black bridge at which point they realised she was missing. They retraced their steps three times but she was nowhere to be seen.

Just got back..... timed it just right to make sure I was out in all the rain too .... so back a bit early as wet boots rubbing.....I went straight to the bridge, across, then footpaths towards Bletchingdon, all quite overgrown, they don't seem to be well used, headed across towards Thrupp on the other footpath, doubled back, headed along the streets into Hampton Poyle, came back to bridge, to car park then retraced along river side towards Branson's bridge. no sign :( Spoke to a few people in Hampton Poyle. Also Sue, a bit about her personality might help, is she the type to charge through the mud and go down rabbit holes, or more the type that would step round a puddle, is she likely to go up to people/dogs or hide herself away...... etc. x Sorry for all the questions - we just want to be able to help you as best we can. x
Liz
Thinking out loud.............did the person walking the dogs drive and park in st marys car park? If Piggy lost sight of him, she may have headed back to the car park, she may have been picked up there....as we know thieves operate in that car park......might be worth sharing further afield and making it well know that Piggy is unable to have pups..

Just come back from searching since 3.30pm, retraced area I searched yesterday plus went downstream along the river bank Hampton Poyle side from white bridge for 1 field. then head back up to woods and searched woods, came back along opposite side to river, through st marys amongst undergrowth. no sign - not many people about due to drizzle. No sigh. Did see posters - thanks Louise My partner went around the edge along the river side of the two fields opposite Bransons which you;re not supposed to go in really, the ones accessed from Bicester road - where the 'lasher' is - no sign - the river banks are really hard to get to as they are so overgrown.

I have just popped back down to St Mary's with a poster but could only print one so if anyone else could do a couple more that would be great. Any more news from anyone on this little one?

I've just spent a couple of hours from white bridge, through the woods and along the banks. It's so overgrown!!! I'll go again tomorrow but will go the opposite way towards the big wood. There are still no posters up so I will try to print one or two off now but the printer is not the most reliable! Regarding the glass, it's still spread about on the left as you drive in but it's black glass so people are not seeing it well. I will take a broom tomorrow as well. I wonder has the owner taken the other 2 dogs back with her? Maybe they can scent her?

COMMENT FROM A MEMBER OF DOGLOST OXFORDSHIRE...Just to let anyone who is taking their own dogs to help search...a lady had her car window smashed and handbag taken the other day and she shook all the mats covered in glass all over the car park so watch your dogs feet!
Liz
If Piggy is not neutered - we need to bear in mind that this would make her a 'valuable' dog to an unscrupulous person. :( x

Tagged Triggers owner as many people were out looking for him yesterday incase they saw anything
Liz
I have just walked from the rear of Cherwell Drive (river footpath, along road to mini r/a (A34) scanning fields. Up towards the large bridge (which leads to Bransons) then along the riverside all the way up to White Bridge scanning field and river sides where I could get close. Then went up towards the woods alongside the river from White Bridge then headed back towards the St Marys Car Park. (no notices up here - would be good idea as so many people use that car park - no found notices either. Lots of dog owners - very popular walking spot. Will tag Triggers owner - as lots of lovely people I believe were out looking for him yesterday -might have seen something. Incidentally when I was out looking for Trigger yesterday evening, approx halfway between the white bridge and the entrance to the woods, Bill ran off, when he came back he was really panting, as if he had chased something (not really his style) or had been playing --- didn't hear or see anything at that time....but this was approx 9.30pm - I have spoken to quite a few people, and have given then Doglost and AnimalFinders name incase of sightings.

Had a message that this little one went missing out on her walk behind St Mary's church. Apparently very close to white bridge, which is the bridge that links Kidlington to Hampton Poyle. I'm off now to have a scout around and will go again tomorrow if no sightings. Stay safe Little Piggy.

Can anyone give information of the place she was last seen please? I'll go out searching and if I know a starting point that will help. Hope you find her soon.
