If you do leave a bed and something that smells of you don't tell anyone else where you've put it. Obviously leave it somewhere safe you can track to but don't make public where it is just in case. There are some odd people out there. To give you some hope we found a dog local to Sevenoaks almost 6 weeks after she disappeared less than 1 mile from where she went missing. She fed at night from the bins near a pub and stayed close to water to ensure she stayed hydrated. I know it's easy to say but don't give up hope. We didn't have any sightings for weeks then out of the blue a lady called and we found her that afternoon. Put her favourite treats near where you lay your scent and hopefully she will find it and keep returning. My offer stands Sunday of coming in the morning to help you search. Lydia x

Lyd54321 - thank you for your msge. She should come when called but I just don't know as she's been away for over 24hrs now. We have been there 4am this morning and about an hour ago to the same area. We were hoping the scent of us each time will encourage her but an item of hers might be a good idea. thank you

Hi. I'm near Sevenoaks. Unfortunately I can't get down to help search tomorrow however I can come Sunday morning if she isn't found by then. Is she a nervous dog and will she come when called? Also it maybe worth leaving something that smells familiar to her (like a dog bed and a t shirt of yours) so of she scents it will return back to the same place. then you can check first thing in the morning and in the evenings if she finds it? X
