So sorry. You can go on adoring Candy, as she is still woth you in spirit. Nightie, night Candy sleep tight, and have fun at the bridge with the other "Rainbow babies" until one day when the time is right, you will be reunited with your loving family. Contacted owners to see if there was any news on this little one. There was, but sadly not good news. Candy was hit by a car. A lady found her in her garden. She was taken to a vet and the owners were contacted in the early hours of Wednesday morning to say that she had passed away.

The owners are still understandably very upset and asked me to update this thread. They had adored her for ten years. A big and sudden loss.
My heartfelt condolences to the family. RIP sweet girl.

Debs74, I'm sorry Candy is missing. If you haven't already done so, put out loads of posters in the area. Contact vets, rescue centres, and contact the dog warden daily. Ask your local radio station to put out an alert for her.

I walk my dog, Meg, every day in Parc Coed y Nant. I will look out for Candy and ask other dog walkers to do the same.
Hope she's found soon.

Please please please share and keep a look out for candy! She is our little baby and our home is not home without her! She is really friendly and her front left paw sticks out slightly to the side due to being broken a few years ago, we are heart broken, last seen in pentwyn yesterday afternoon running towards Cardiff gate... Please do not hesitate to contact either of us day or night if any sightings, we are not sleeping anyway as out looking for her all the time
