Thank you Julie. Human nature at it's best. So good to see and thank you to all. It is a miracle that she wasn't killed outright but the quick actions of those involved afterwards most definitely saved her life in the following "golden hour" of trauma.

Catkin
I am Catkin's owner and wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who helped over such a traumatic time. Catkin was at Sandhurst for the night with a friend and bolted (not sure if gun fire spooked her or something). She then spent the next 24 hours travelling about 6 miles until she was finally picked up on the M3. I am so, so grateful to the wonderful people who were out looking, to Dogslost who rang to get updates and offer support, to Elliott who saw Catkin being struck by a car on the motorway and stopped with two other cars to help her, to the police who escorted Elliott and Catkin to the vets, to Ashworth Vets and North Downs Vets in Milford who have done so much. She had surgery to fix her broken lower jaw, had teeth removed but was eating wet food two hours later. The vet has just called and I can take her home today!! It's a miracle she wasn't killed. My faith in human nature has multiplied ten-fold. Thank you all so, so much!! xx

I have just watched the video on You Tube what amazing and kind people and the police giving an escort too - my eyes filled up with tears so heartwarming to have such caring people around to help. Sending healing wishes to Catkin and so pleased to hear she is doing well after her surgery. J. x

to me
Hi - hope you got my email yesterday. This is a photo of Catkin before her accident. I wanted to thank all Dogslost volunteers who gave up their time to look for her. There is also a video on YouTube (type Dog rescued from M3 into the search) by the men who rescued her. She had jaw surgery today and is doing well.
Many regards
Sarah

Admin, can you please pop her over to blue x

The dog was taken to Ashworth Vets around 5.30, think the owners have picked her up from there and taking her to Vets Now, the overnight vets, it has been said that it is a positive thing as she must be well enough to travel. Keeping everything crossed for her.

Dog taken to Ashworth Vets in Cove this evening who had been hit by a car on the M3, dog was not dead, vets were working on it. Could well be her. Have left messages for the vets and on their Facebook page. Please let owners know. Fingers crossed for the dog. Sorry I don't have any more.

Have been out all over Copped Hall looking this evening, no sign. Will also share the details to Camberley Gossip on FB.

This is the same one. The little dog went missing from the RMA (Royal Military Academy) grounds which run from Sandhurst to Camberley. This little dog has been spotted earlier running up the Maultway GU15 towards Heatherside. She was for a time at Heathside which is a private gated community next to the M3.
I believe the owner has already been up there to look earlier as were a few others. I have just come back from driving all round that area, from the A30 in Camberley to Deepcut, and all round the back of the Heathside community.
There are no posters up at all so if you could possibly suggest Jayne that they really do need those up asap as the people I spoke to had no clue there was a dog missing so close.
The Heatherside Facebook Forum is following this and has had volunteers out looking too.
My other half has just gone for his run on the adjoining MOD land with a slip lead, clutching at straws, but often it's a case of right time, right place.
Have given advice on the Heatherside Forum as to what to do if they spot her. Fingers crossed she is home very soon.
We could really do with some regular updates from the owner as to what they are doing to look, so we know how best to help.

Thank you Faylie..have emailed owners sister.

There is a thread on Camberley Facebook pages about a small white dog running around on the maultway. They thought it was a Bishon but couldn't get close. Camberley chat and Camberley selling group have it up.
