Thanks Carol. That's brilliant news. Floss was found this morning quite close to where she was lost from. She's a lost weight and a bit subdued but I'm sure with lots of tlc she will be fine. Well done! Last edited: 2015-04-08 14:34:24 by Clarkey - Area Co-ordinator, East Sussex

Thanks Eve, Mazzyuk, barleysmum and everyone else who's helping and supporting owner.
If you are able to help search or poster please contact owner on the telephone number above.

If Floss's owner wants to post on here she just needs to register (it's free) and when she is logged in she will be able to post a comment.
Some of our helpers are not on Fbk so if there are any updates and/or sightings it will help them to know what is going on.
I can 'bump' the page for sightings too so more people will see this page. It sometimes helps to have all the info on this page as this site is easy to check when out searching .. and often comments on multiple posts on Fbk can be difficult to follow (especially if long ones) on mobile telephones.

I would advise that owners should inform Dog Wardens in immediate and surrounding areas. Often if someone picks up a dog and takes them to safety they will take them back to their own home area so this can be outside the area where your dog was lost. Hope this helps.

You can print posters direct from the Doglost poster page .. reduce the ones to go through letterboxes to A5 size to save on ink and paper etc. Large posters on to telegraph poles etc. You can also give small ones to people you meet when searching so they can keep them in their pockets!

Hope Floss is found very soon. Last edited: 2015-04-07 07:18:57 by Clarkey - Area Co-ordinator, East Sussex

There is also a Facebook page running:Help Find Floss. I don't think the owner knows the area very well so I'm sure help from 'locals' would be much appreciated. Last year I found two beagles by the river in Cymbelline meadows who had run off whilst being walked over hilly fields and managed to cross the main road so it might be worth widening the search area to Cymbelline, also Lexden springs.

I am not sure my friend has figured how to reply to tbe posts here! Many of us have been searching for her with no luck... If you happen to be walking in that area, please do keep an eye open xx
