My lurcher X lab was also abandoned by travellers and despite his bad start is the most lovely dog. this one has such a lovely face. I just want to adopt them all thats my trouble.

Usually for putting down on the roads. From our own Travellers Site nearby the kids "play" with the tar when the fathers come home and also the pets!!! This is a site I constantly watch for abuse to their animals sadly that well known organisation never seem to want to go to investigate unless I can give them a name of an owner! Dog warden is usually more helpful along with the police especially if the dogs step outside the site.Last edited: 2012-03-30 14:14:55 by ClaireC

Hi Claire. I'm not sure i want to know the answer to this, but what do they use the tar for?
ClaireC
The travelling population like to use tar and Lurchers. Hope they are eventually caught and treated in the most appropriate manner. I sincerely hope that this lovely girl finds a loving home where they will surely be rewarded like my old Lurcher did for me when he was discarded by travellers.

some people arnt fit to have animals [lets hope they have not got any kids].you and you know who you are are not fit to breath the same air as all decent animal lovers and the poor defencles animals who suffer at your hands ,your not fit to have a goldfish. I hope this girl gets a lovely home she looks so sweet and trusting.

This girl was found yesterday - she has been victim of some horrible person who has thrown hot tar over her - she has recieved treatment for her body and is in very safe hands

I honestly dispair of what 'humans' are capable of sometimes
