There have been three recent sightings of Isobel being walked near the area that she went missing. I need to follow this up by making visual identification myself, what would be the best course of action?

No further sightings. The majority of the posters that were up have been taken down, so will be replacing them. Will be going out again this afternoon to look some more.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Still no joy. We have been searching everyday for her, more posters went up over a larger area, in the local newspaper and for their online site, Petwatch. Have been knocking door-to-door and also speaking to dog walkers and passers-by, there have been sightings of her in the area that she went missing but they were late last week.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Posters went up on Friday afternoon around the area that she went missing and also at local shops in the neighbouring estates. Continued searching today without joy.    Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I have spoken with owners this morning - Isobel was being look after by a family member at the Greenleys end of Wolverton when she was spooked and ran off - she hid under a car and due to being scared nipped the family member who was trying to catch her and escaped further away and they lost sight of her. Owners live about 5 miles away and she could try to make her way home. Isobel will be very scared and may try to defend herself if cornered so please call owners if you spot her. I have advised on areas to concentrate postering on in this location as there is a large park with gardens backing all the way along the park, she could be hiding in someones shed. Wardens, identichip and vets have been informed and owners are out postering again todayLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi I?m sorry to hear that ISOBEL is missing.
Firstly contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres? give them all a detailed description of your dog with any distinguishing marks/scars.
If your dog has a microchip then please let your company know and at the same time check that all details held are up to date.
You can only print posters when you are signed in. Get postering now?..   I CANNOT EMPHASISE HOW VERY IMPORTANT THIS IS & VERY OFTEN THE KEY FOR QUICK & SAFE RETURN ~ IF POSSIBLE PUT IN CLEAR PLASTIC POUCHES TO WITHSTAND BAD WEATHER
Someone will try and make personal contact with you soon but should you require urgent help please phone admin who will pass on your details to your nearest available co-ordinator who is able to contact you.
