- When cats "Escape" like this, they will usually find refuge in someone`s garden albeit she escaped in a lay by cats can run about 20/30mph, so she could have found refuge somewhere. If possible poster around the area she "Escaped" Consider posting a LOST CAT ad in a National newspaper too. Contact vets, rescue centres etc in case she has been handed in.
