- I got a lovely call this morning from Wendy, who had been out since 6am, to say he had been spotted in Cot valley by a hiker. She went to have a look & it seems he ran into someones garden & they managed to lock him in the garage. She was overjoyed to get him back :)

She has a few dogs & she went into the garden to take them out & the gate was insecure. The dogs ran off & all but Cole came back, as he is very timid. He was last sighted down in Cot Valley.
I have spoken to her & given general advice re scenting & location of mine shafts etc & I have also emailed the advice sheets.
Will recontact in the morning to see if he has turned up & if not have advised re postering area.
Have given dog wardens out of hours number & she will leave a note at her vets.
