Good know they have a home to go to. Microhip as soon as please. And yes, mugs of Oxo, Bovril or Bisto poured onto straw leave a smell for several hours and the dogs can smell it up to a mile away. Glad to have helped.

I am so glad I contacted Doglost yesterday and that the dogs have been caught. I was really concerned when I spotted them yesterday morning as,the weather had turned nasty. The information that I gave Jayne was limited but thankfully enough to have them identified. Goes to show the power of Doglost. So pleased for Krystal, this must give one happiness in an awful experience!Last edited: 2016-01-02 23:13:56 by Joe Fish

The golden coloured standing one looks like he's the boy

It was mainly down to the persistence of the Hamilton Stables staff that these two were finally caught in one of the horses pens by a mug of Bovril gravy. One male & one female but I don't know which is which.

Tx for the photos...Looks like quite a bit of team effort in erecting the penning around them. Do we have an update as to what sex they are?

Well done folks

Compton villagers have been following & feeding two loose lurcher type dogs for the past few days. Not sure if it is these dogs but they had been triangulating around the area, so might have been. They have been secured this morning & are awaiting collection by the Dog Warden.

Could the white one be 96567 seen in OX9 ?

These two were sighted running across fields between the two disused railway bridges at the end of Bonhams Lane, Blewbury (Downs/Ridgeway end) They were going backwards and forwards across the same fields. Despite trying to get close or to call them close, I was unsuccessful(maybe because of my dogs being with me) I wasn't able to get a picture as they were not close enough. The tan/rust coloured dog was always following the white/cream dog. They were tall, leggy dogs, of lurcher/greyhound build. I saw no collars on them. Neither appeared to be lame. Hopefully, they got loose from somewhere local and have now have gone home
