Oh Hazel. that is so kind of you, Thank You. I would love to meet you, I may be back in hospital as the Pneumonia has come back again I'm waiting for a bed in Aintree of the Royal, whichever has a side room free first. More important than ever to make sure Loopy is traceable if I go in as she is so naughty when I am in hospital and plays up the dog walker and tries to escape more to try and find me!! I have just changed mobiles as well as I lost my last one so I may have missed you text, all my contact were on the one I lost, so I have same number and am using an old nokia handset for now but at least I can pick up messages now til I get a new one! Look forward to hearing all about Switzerland, I've always wanted to go there. Speak soon Hazel. xxx

Oh my....please don't get stressed and try not to worry....apologies for the delay as I have been in Switzerland! back now so I will get this organised for Loopy. I will let you know when I am passing your way so we can meet :)).... let me sort this our for you now and hopefully it will be with you in the next 14 days ....let me know when it arrives....I will also text you xx

Hiya Hazel, I'm so sorry I've not been on again, I've got Pneumonia and been really ill in hospital, and now I've come home I'm not great, I was stressing cos I hadn't got back to you but my useless husband couldn't find how to log on here and by this point I'd forgotten the password!! Loopy's neck size, allowing a couple of centimetres for her thick fur is 43cm, or 16 and a half inches. For most collars that puts her in the Extra large to large size. I hope that makes sense! x If it's possible, I'd like to meet you in person to thank you for everything you have done for us, just the other day she nearly got out again, my heart is in my mouth with her, as I have carers and medical people in and out of the house all the time they just don't realise she likes to escape, and to be able to track where she goes if she does get out will make such a difference, my kids are 15 and 13 now so they can track her if she does get out.

Great to her from you and glad you managed to get away over the festive period ....I thought maybe that was the reason so let me know her collar size and I can get it ordered ...I can get it sent direct to your home...best email your address to Doglost here and they will pass it on to me :)) xx

Hi Hazel, sorry I've not been on I've had no wifi for a couple of weeks, we stayed with friends in Wales over christmas and new year, and there is no phone signal and no wifi due to storms and floods! Sim cost sounds fine, it's well worth it, I'll get her collar size in the morning, I'm not sure what size they come in, she was always a large but she has lost weight, I'll get back to you tomorrow, thanks so much Hazel. xxx

Hope you picked up my text Helen....I have a Tracca!....but need to check your phone is compatible and you are happy with the monthly Sim cost (they recommend an Asda Sim at £1.50 pm approx) plus Loopys collar size 💕🎄💕

Loopy has done nothing but sleep and eat since she came home! Carer took her for a brief walk this morning to check she was walking ok now she has meds back on board and has no hidden injuries, and she is fine now she is rested. No wiser though, she would probably do the same again given half a chance! I think we all slept better last night, even Ben the King Charles who spent the whole night whining and looking for her when she was missing.

Hazel, I have no doubt at all Loopy would benefit from a tracker collar, and I would certainly benefit as it means I can keep her safe, it's in their nature to wander, I had hoped she had got too old for running away, but the drugs for her arthritis and ruptured cruciate have given her a new lease of life, and she can run again! Huskies are opportunists, and with the amount of people I have coming through the house with carers, GP's, nurses, oxygen delivery men, etc, it's only a matter of time until someone new leaves the door ajar and she runs away again. Usually she is caught quickly before she leaves the close. For that reason I've looked at them before but they were out of my budget at the time. I am so touched that people cared so much, and that is such a kind and thoughtful offer, and if you are sure, one I would be very happy to accept.

Without a doubt, she would benefit from it and so would I; if I can track where she is headed and what direction she went in, she can't go missing . What happened with Loopy this week was horrible, and I never want to go through that again, the anxiety and grief was terrible. This Loopy saga has also really shown me how kind people can be, and it couldn't have come at a better time for me, it has meant so much to see that people really can care, enough to get involved in searching for her in the really cold and wet, windy weather and get covered in mud for a dog they don't know which is owned by a stranger. I can't say how much it means to get Loopy back because people cared enough to help, Thank You so much to everyone who helped, and especially Hazel for being so thoughtful to want to stop it happening again. Helen. xxx

I can't thank everyone enough who shared Loopy's picture and description, and especially to those lovely people who gave up their time to come and find her and succeeded this afternoon. I can't tell you what getting her back means to me, she is such a big part of my life, and I am blown away by the fact that people have been so kind and selfless as to look for her on my behalf, it's so frustrating when you're disabled to not be able to go out and look in all the places she likes to go to, and you guys did it for me and got her back, thanks so much. She had got herself well hidden and dug in and quite scared out there, she was reluctant to come out, unusually for her, and I am so thankful that we don't have to face another night of this and she doesn't have to brave the cold again. The power of social media, but it would never work without people who care, thank you so so much. Helen. xxxx

Heartfelt message from owner. Thanks for sharing everyone, Loopy still missing, she has never gone this long and she desperately needs her meds for the arthritis in her back legs or she will be lame and in considerable pain. This dog has been with us since she was 6 weeks old and she's 10 now, old for a husky, but she doesn't look it. I'm on oxygen and Disabled and she is my world, Problem is she is used to carers walking her so she will go to anyone, and I am limited in what I can do from here, so, If anyone finds her, please message me or return her to 28 Whinberry Drive, Southdene, Kirkby. Tel 0151 538 9062 or 07719 774 184 email Helenmulrooney@gmail.com I need her back desperately. My dogs are my world. xxx

Thanks Makenzie8513 for looking out for LOOPY and posting. I've looked at the FOUND being shared on fb and it is not LOOPY.

LOOPY's owner has been sharing details on fb.

I've updated the details and will share on fb. Will also email info/advice to owner who I have made contact with.
