I have recently lost a ginger and white cat in Wattisham which is very near you and concerned that ginger cats in the area are being targetted. Could you get in contact please? 01449 744966.

Neutered cats dont tend to wander far. Will have about four garden spaces wherfe you live for his territory /Search all out buildings such as sheds, garages, and greenhouse. Look behind hedges/bushes in case he has been injured, and is frightened. Put some tuna in his dish, and keep calling him; someone may be feeding him. Put something with his scent on, such as his blanket or bedding, place in a clean container, and leave in the garden in a sheltered spot, along with something with your scent on too. Wipoe his scent on your garden fences, and things leading up tol the house such as lamposts. Put "Lost" posters through doors, and ask around. There is a site online: Catcvhat which gives manyh more tipos on how to find your missing cat. Just google Catchat lost cats. If you use tinned cat food open a tin with the door open , and the sound of the can opener, and smell of the food may bring him home.

• If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
• Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk

• Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
• If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
• If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
• Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
