This is absolutely fantastic news. So happy for you. People sometimes that a cat they see is a stray, start feeding it and as in this case will takef them in. when you fetch Squeak I would keep him indoors for at least a weeks, otherwise he will try to go back to whoever took him in. This happens a lot, when other peoplerfeed your cat. Made my day too. And cats are very food orientated i have two. Stay close now Squeak:-) :-) :-) :-)Last edited: 2016-09-25 15:25:32

My friend has just text me good news...

Hi Gillian, I just wanted to let you know before you see it on FB that Squeak has turned up!! I got a call from the vets in Woking this morning to say someone had taken him in. Apparently he seems healthy and well. I'm away this weekend so will be collecting him when I get back tomorrow. I just can't believe it and I burst out crying when they called!! He's been gone 14 months now. xxx

A good time to call out to Squeak is late at night and early in the morning when it is quieter.

Squeak is neutered so may not be too far away, as will have a smaller territory. Put some sardines/tuna in his dish, and keep calling him. Someone else may be feeding him. Also put something with Squeak`s scent on, litter tray or blanket, along with something with your scent on too, and leave in the garden in a sheltered spot. Check all outbuuildings, such as sheds, garages, and behind hedges. Put "Lost" posters through doors. PS Male cats that are neutered only have about four garden spaces for their territory. Spayed females about two. Hope Squeak is home soon.
