Such devastating news. :(

Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.

There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.

There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.

The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers.

Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Posted on owners FB page:
Hogan is sadly dead yes and we have recent news that Seve was hit on the same morning and was laying in the central reservation, hogan was hit and was laying just off of the hard shoulder! Both incidents were reported to essex police and Cambridge police, the highways agency collected seve that day and even though he is chipped they still haven't called us... And poor hogan was left to lay on the side of the road for 6 days! Thank you so much for everyone that has helped us find our babies! Rest in peace hogan and Seve our angels we love you ️xxx

Hi - If we can get some more details of sighting in Great Hallingbury that would be great. I live in Little Hallingbury but also have a studio base in Great Hallingbury. I have shared on FB and asked local people to be aware. Thanks
BigGSDPatlucky
I have just heard from Pat at Mutts in distress.
He was seen yesterday about a mile or so away from her kennels.
Pat also said she believes his name is Seve pronounced Sevvy.
She also said she hopes he finds his way to her.
Praying he is safe.
Little Hallingbury is the area.

The sighting was late in the evening last night (16.03.2015). Sighted in Great Hallingbury.
Owner has been notified by text & replied, so the family are aware.
BigGSDPatlucky
Pat (Mutts in Distress is hoping he is found and taken to her.
That would be brilliant.
He has been seen in that area so fingers crossed.

There has been a reported sighting of a dog matching Seve's description in Great Hallingbury,

I have alerted the staff at Mutts in Distress & Normandale Boarding Kennels as they are in this area.

There is also a post on the local area information website.

Please let him be found safe.
Fingers crossed

Sadly, it is reported on a local FB lost pets group that Hogan was found deceased at the side of the M11. Both dogs were sighted on Friday on the Latton Common side of the Hastingwood roundabout. Hope Seve is home soon xx
