This is why most dog owners absolutely despise travellers. I am a great believer in karma. So what goes around comes around. Welcome home little Daisy. You are safe now...
HelperHelen - Dog SOS Derbyshire
So glad she's safely home. Shame on the travellers and they wonder why they get a bad name!!!

Fantastic news. Stay safe now sweet daisy. Well done owners for getting your girl back

Lordy lord, so happy she's home but the travellers that did this should be ashamed of themselves, but they won't be. Welcome home Daisy xxx

Daisy is now home! She is quite thin and filthy dirty. She has had checkup at Vet and she is okay apart from that. Thank goodness. Owners did extremely well to get Daisy home. Daisy was returned by travellers for a ransom. Welcome home sweetie. Stay safe now. xxx

I wasn't sure if Bella's Angels would help in Cheshunt, but I've copied post to their page for Shelagh. x

Bella's Angels are brilliant they helped find several dogs in the Colchester area and hopefully they can help find this gorgeous dog. X

Good idea, Shelagh. When you join you can crosspost the link to this page to Bella's Angels. They are in my experience a helpful bunch of people.

There is a Facebook group called 'Bella's Angels. I've just come across it it seems to be a group of volunteers who come together for pestering etc. They cover Essex. I wonder could they help Daisy's owner with pestering. I know cheshunt/Waltham cross are quite rural in parts and require a lot of 'leg work' when postering . I have requested to join group they have individual numbers for different areas,I could get nearest to this and send to owner!

https://www.facebook.com/Petloglostfound Wendy - here is the link to the PetLof facebook page. Go to it and scroll down to find what you need. Or call PetLog direct. You are doing well, keep going andget those posters and leaflets out. Very often the answers are close to home. x

Wendy, Jean won't be able to give you more details as she has copied this from a facebook page but, if you can check the PetLog page you may find details, or Jean, could post the page link on here and any one of us can find the details for you. I don't think this is Daisy as it would probably state apricot and the dog would most likely have been scanned and if Daisy you would, I think, have heard. This is not to say it definitely isn't, but I would likely think not. I do however, feel you need access to all gardens in the area and get people to check their gardens and sheds. I also think you need to speak all residents because very likely she is hanging around in a neighbouting garden or estate. They can survive quite well in the "wild" especially accessing food. How about bird tables or someone leaving food for foxes? Poster heavily in the area and as Owl says, put little leaflets in doors or, at least, leave your phone number with all the neighbouring properties, possibly 200 or more. Did you get my email? x

Has owner done a door ot door flyer drop? Often useful when small dogs go awol and may be sheltering in local gardens or sheds.
