Top Job Miss Alice :D Owners are over the moon. The Pub Landlord had thought the dog that was found was too young to be Rosie. She was taken home, to be looked after overnight, by a local resident that lived very close to the owner and was collected by the owner this afternoon. So pleased that she's safe and sound :D

Have tracked down who took Rosie from the pub. Have passed details to owner. Hubby has just gone back to Peacock to see landlady. Looks like this may go to blue soon!

just spoken to a friend that works in the shop next to pub - waiting for her to ring back with a phone number hopefully. Looks like someone may have taken the dog home last night rather than leave it in the pub!

No one in at the pub. Owner will try again later. Miss Alice if you know anyone that might have a mobile number for the landlord then that would be a great help as owners are, understandably, in suspense

Just received poster from Doglost. I live in next village and saw something on Facebook this morning about a black lab bitch found in Tysoe yesterday and had been handed to the Peacock pub!! I did post whether Dog Warden had been informed/dog posted on dog lost website and you just couldn't find a dog and give it to a pub! Have spoken to owner just now - she is going to go to the pub and see if dog is still there. I've tried calling Peacock but no answer. Fingers crossed they find her. Will update if I hear anything.
