Thank you for the catchup, lovely to hear Lulu has settled down to family life again, who wouldnt though, being warm, fed and plenty of rest!

THE FINAL CHAPTER. from Lulu's family... "Lulu has been very contented today, I think it's because she knows she's safe and can relax. She has slept quite a bit, but the vet told us to expect this - her little body needs to recharge! She has had four meals today, and I jammed in as many calories as I could, with plenty of pasta, some grated cheese and corned beef! A sense of calm has descended over our family, after 38 hellish days of constant worry and dread. Our dogs are precious to us and our family was not complete without Lulu here - but now our family is mended again xxx"

So glad she's home safe and well. Glad the trap came in useful for you.

A little message from Lulu's mum Wendy, a very tired but happy lady. "Lulu finally home safe after 38 days - she's fit and well, if a bit skinny and dirty. She was found after a huge effort by the local community, to whom we will always be eternally grateful". Last edited: 2015-01-07 21:08:05 by G

So glad to see that Lulu has at last been caught and back home. She had stayed in the same small, area so obviously wanted to be home.
Holly
So pleased to see you are back home little Lulu!
G
She was caught by a yummy food trap on the A2, Tesco's side. There was a small clearing there where rubbish and food bags seemed to collect. What a relief. So many people have helped her in so many different ways. Thankyou to you all.

PLEASE THIS IS REALLY IMPORTANT. We need to make everyone aware if they see Lulu it is essential that she is not approached, looked at, or even stop you car near her. She is very frightened and only her mum Wendy on 07866623445 is to go near her.
It would be a great help if you could put this in your comments and re-share this post . ThankyouLast edited: 2015-01-06 22:05:13 by G

IMPORTANT very quick reminder do not approach her please pass this message on
G
Please can you continue to keep you eyes peeled but not to actively search for her. We are confident she in the A2 Whitfield area and there are areas that are being closely monitoring. Can you continue to alert as many people as possible that she is frightened and must not be approached or even looked at. We cannot thankyou enough for your help.
G
We continue to believe she is in the A2 Whitfield . There are also potential areas hence the need for dog (food) traps. Please can you continue to keep your eyes peeled but not to actively search for her (hope that makes sense). We also need the message spread about not to approach her of go near her on foot or in a car Thankyou.

I am too far away in Derbyshire to bring trap, you can buy fox traps which would be big enough, I am sure someone will have one who would lend one to you, might be worth ring doglost helpline to see if they have any contacts of people with traps, good luck.

No sightings today. But its so encouraging when we see the number of shares and viewings on Dogs Lost increasing. We cant thankyou enough for your help.
G
Please keep looking for this little dog, she was last seen near the A2 (Whitfield) on the 28th December but sadly no sightings since. It could now be possible she has moved out of this area. Thanks
G
Most recent sightings are in the Whitfield areas but she seems to cover a large area quite quickly so please keep a lookout everywhere.
Please keep passing the message to everyone " She is very frightened if sighted do not approach, look at or speak to her just contact her mum Wendy Wheeler on 07866623445". Thank you.

Any updates anyone?

Saw small dog approx two weeks ago in Ringwould, Queens Rise area - thought it had come from a house - didn't think anything of it 'til saw posters ironically next day! Does Lulu have a bone shaped tag? I've driven through the area on my way home to keep an eye out as I'm in Walmer ever since. Which side of the Animal Inn was she lost? on the Freedowns or other side of main road? I'm a very early morning dog walker - will continue to keep an eye out -seen your posters at Walmer Farm shop area.Last edited: 2014-12-19 17:55:02 by Didigirl
