I have emailed Doglost to see if Dorothy's owner can be contacted to check the Found dog, but have not had an answer yet.
BorderCol
I have texted owner on both the above numbers about the found dog but no reply. Is there any other way to make contact? The Found dog does look very like her around the face and ears.

Oh bless her. I do so hope that she is found by all these wonderful people who went looking for Jasper. Fingers crossed.
Kate
For info- many, if not most, of the people involved in the search for Jasper are now involved in the search for Dotty - both on the admin side and out in the fells. The Facebook page #FindDotty is growing and she now has a Twitter account #Find_Dotty. The biggest obstacle is the weather and time is against us if she is still in the fells. Please share and tweet as much as you can. When Jasper was found, he was neither trapped nor injured. Just a little footsore from running around trying to find Adam. He stayed in the same area where he was lost, waiting for Adam to come back. Dotty may be waiting too, although searches so far suggest not. We are hoping, as a working dog, that she has come down to lower ground and is either lost or has been picked up. Please look out for her. Thank you.
BorderCol
Jasper was either injured or trapped; he had to be rescued. Is there any advice available from the many people who helped to search for him?

Thank you to everyone who has been posting and helping in the search for Dotty. The dog described below does sound like her, however as you say it is a very long way from home. Would it be possible for anyone in the area to be able to get a photograph of her or catch her? If I can confirm it is her I would be able to travel down as soon as possible. Again, thanks a lot to everyone
Op
a small nervous collie was seen by me and several others on the road between Turvey and Olney, Bedfordshire Buckinghamshire border last night. It was dark and it ran away but there have been several Facebook posts and people have gone looking for her in the daylight, seen her, but she ran off. It is a long way from home but the description fits. I

Thanks Jayelle and Atkl for posting on her page and sharing her details.

There are lots of people who also helped with searching for Jasper aware and I did alert the Mountain Rescue group as well. Just need some sightings of her to target an area. She may have been picked up and taken home by finder. Just takes that one share or poster to be seen by the right person.
Atkl
I have seen posters on Facebook. I live in Cumbria and have shared. Have also sent a message to Cumbria Crack on Facebook to ask if they will share the poster it has a very wide audience in Cumbria.

Good luck with finding her
BorderCol
Would anyone involved in rescuing Jasper be able to advise? It sounds as if poor Dorothy has been lost in similar terrain.

I've been sharing her photo and details around fb, thanks a million to others who are also sharing and offering to look out for her.

Dorothy was shared on fb glad family have taken advice and registered her on DogLost. She does not look like she has any other cross in her and if picked up would be described as a BORDER COLLIE. I will share her details a.s.a.p. once details have been checked. x
