Thanks Louise625 if you are referring to the details I've put below, it is not STORM. The sex of dog's on their site is in brackets next to breed. A few years ago I spoke to Cheshire Dog Warden and said it would help to have the sex and eliminate some matches.

Type: Husky (B)
Date: 20 December 2014
Found: Chester
Rehousing date: 28 December 2014

Please check out a dog at Cheshire West and Chester council at the moment. Doesn't give sex of the found dog. It does say Husky grey and white but it's worth checking.

The Audi garage backs on to the canal so all the sightings of him are in that area, get some posters printed and visit all the businesses in that area - from PC World and the carpet shops at the bottom, up past the car dealers and then onto the industrial park further up at phillips road. There are some food factories up there too. Its worth a look

My name is Coryn and I run Rochdale Dog Rescue. On Sunday at 1.08pm I had a call from a man in Blackburn, said he was at work (an Audi garage I think) and that a Husky type dog was running around in between the cars and on the land. He had called the dog warden but as it was out of hours he was expected to catch the dog and take him to the stray kennels himself which he wasn't able to do, hence why he called us. We put an appeal on our page for anybody in the area to help but unfortunately we didn't get any offers and I never heard back from the man who rang me. I do have his number if owner wants to call him?Last edited: 2014-09-16 21:49:48 by Brunzara

Found a young male Husky this morning around 8am near Tesco's in Batley (Tuesday 16th) - was close to getting hit by a car. Very friendly affectionate dog. Please contact me on 07582821864 if he could possibly belong to you.

Thank you Hannah & lollylovesshopping I have passed on your comments to Storms owner

Thank you so much for your help Emma

Hi
I have printed four posters and put them on the notice boards around Walton Le Dale area.

From Blackburn across the fields or down the roads is not that far from where I am.

I will keep a look out

Emma
Hannah

Just seen your ad on Facebook regarding your lost husky.

My partner saw a husky in Macclesfield, Cheshire off it's lead with no collar or harness or owner in sight, last night (mon) approx 8pm. It ran out of West Park next to Sainsburys across the road and back into the park.

I have shown him the pictures of Storm and he says it could well have been him.

We will keep an eye out for him again in our area now we have seen this.

This comment has been posted on the photo's ive shared on facebook of Storm...
"I saw this dog running after a family on bikes riding along the canal yesterday around 1pm, I spoke with the family cos they passed me twice and they said the dog started chasing them in Rishton all the way to Blackburn, so they cycled back to Rishton to take the dog back to were they first saw him. I don't know what happened to him after.
I hope you find him soon."
I'm just trying to find out if 'yesterday' was monday or sunday.
May be worth looking up and down the canal from Whitebirk back to clayton-le-moors xLast edited: 2014-09-16 11:13:24 by lollylovesshopping

Long shot but yesterday I dropped some donations off at Cheshire dogs home in Warrington and there was a husky being walked round by some on the staff I stroked it , it was very friendly. Worth a try

Sorry to see that STORM is missing.
  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
  • A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (75106)
  • Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
  • You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
  • Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
  • If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
  • If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
  • Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
  • DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
