- Phoned this number again and spoke to the owner, who said that he had his dog back now.

- The dog was taken to a local vet and then on to Viking Oaks Sanctuary/kennels. I have tried to contact the owner by phone but it was engaged, and I left a message. - I've just seen the following comment on Facebook "Brindle male Staff taken to Viking Oaks Saturday 11.00 a.m. Found in Parrock Street at 9.30 a.m.. Not microchipped." Sounds like it could be this one. The person who found the dog has left a message on owner's answerphone.
