- Other Info I have not seen this dog - I have been told it is a spaniel but it may not be a cocker. It was reported on a Facebook page for my village, Blackrod. It is very timid and will not come anywhere near anybody. The dog warden knows about it but says it could be weeks before it will be approached. He thinks it has been dumped.

- Being fed locally to try and get confidence so can be caught ... if seen please do NOT try to catch/chase as needs to be kept away from roads ...

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
