I know it does not happen much.(probably a one off)
I found a dog some years ago took it to a local pound.
Watched the lady use a scanner .(quite quickly I might add.
No it wasn't chipped she said.
Later that day the owner phone to thank me.
Guess what the dog was chipped.
So never take anything for gospel.

Ill call tomorrow . My girl is def chipped to me so should if been contacted if mine but you never know ! Fingers crossed . It's been 3 half years ! Too long :(
