Just made a donation to the Greyhound Gap .....they where there had Missy not been saved and supported by her mummy...hope she is making a good recovery xx

Please put the donation in the funds anyway for other lovely dogs in your care, as for the owners the lady sounds lovely but i would be kicking the husband out of the door, keep the dog, ditch the husband !!

Bo. Your partner probably would mot have acted in that way. I know my husband wouldn`t. So pleased that Missy (Hopefully) is going back to her owner; at least Missy`s "Mom" cares even if her "Dad" doesn`t.

It seems the dog got out and was involved in a RTA and taken to the local vet, they found out who the owners were and spoke to the husband who said PTS. Vet rang Greyhound. Gap who said we will take her and cover all she needs as they are fab. Wife then finds out and very distraught rings the vet and says she will cover all the care required etc. its a tricky one. If my partner did that he would be an ex partner with an axe in his head.

I would not be handing this dog back over if they have signed her over to vets in the first place x please keep her safe and get her the treatment needed willing to donate x

"Can those who donated towards the care of the little lurcher girl due to come into our care please inbox me please so we can sort a refund! Thankfully I HOPE this story has a happy ending. The wife has been made aware of this mornings actions and has called distraught! She has arranged for the dog to go home and care costs to be fully paid! At least we hope so. This little lass is actually 13!!!!!! The offer has been made that we are STILL more than willing to take her should it be seen that they will not be taking her back."

Missy's mum is going to be very angry with who ever made the PTS decision within her family me thinks. I shall update ASAP.

Tx everyone...Lisa does an amazing job ...I can assure you if she is asking for funds its because they are needed and every peny will go towards this dogs treatment and Missy will have a wonderful forever home lined up for her afterwards.....I take my hat off to you doglost helpers who again and again go without to help these dogs...I am humbled by your generosity....

What a pity this girl`s owners didn`t want to give her a chance? Will be donating towards her treatment asap. Sending her healing vibes, and gentle cuddles. Sure you will be up , and about soon sweetheart. Do you know her name Bo? Keep us posted.

" Just taken a call from a local vets. An 8 year old bitch has been hit by a car and taken into them suffering a superficial break to a metatarsal bone in the toe and a superficial wound above it. She also needs spaying, a dental and a cyst removing. The owners have been located, they have owned the girl from a pup but ordered euthanasia as opposed to treatment. She is now safely signed over to the vets and in turn will be signed over to Greyhound Gap! They are skint and have no room but not about to leave her to face her fate. If anyway can help fund her treatment they can do so by

Thank you for taking the time to list this found dog and ensuring the safety of the dog.
Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
Please check on our Missing pages in case the Found dog has been registered as missing with us.
If possible please add a photo as this greatly assists our work in matching Found dogs with Missing dogs.
