- Other Info We have contacted most authorities: police, local dog warden, vets, RSPCA, kennels, local paper, FaceBook to no avail. If the owner was as vigilant as we have been, the dog would have already been reunited with its owner. Unless, there are extreme circumstances as to why the owner cannot pick up the phone or check the internet. Finally, who would purchase any dog, let alone a pedigree dog, and NOT have it micro-chipped and/or tagged and collared! :(

- I have made enqs & this dog was rehomed to a loving family, after the owner eventually came forward & signed her over. Please can she be moved to the blue?

- I have seen this found dog registered on National pet register and have been shocked by the comments on there( supposedly reiterating what they were told by the rspca) http://www.nationalpetregister.org/fp/58849.htm from one of the comments it appears the rspca said dog was previously found two and a half weeks ago with a collar and tag. and was returned to owner. Surely if this was true a record would have been made. If a dog escapes twice it should not mean the owner should not have the dog back surely.

- In addition to the other reasons given now a days dogs can be a very long way from where they are taken/stolen/missing from so please don't be too hard on the owner.
We have a stolen dog out there somewhere and if she had chip failure, scanner failure or operator failure we may not know she was found unless we were very luck.
When you no longer even know your dog is still alive (and a lot of us with stolen dogs worry they are not) it makes looking for them so hard, so very hard. - 2014-05-22 00:51 Jackalee (Kathryn) - Area Co-ordinator - Greater Manchester
- Many dogs don't wear their collars at home so this may explain no ID or collar if she has escaped from the home environment.

- Could this be Tilly ID 36899?.....only 25mins apart from lost and found?

- I know you have done a lot for trying to finder her owners already, but I just wondered if it was worth taking her somewhere different to have her scanned for a chip again? It does happen, far too often unfortunately, where a chip isn't picked up by one scanner, yet is picked up by a different scanner. Anyway, just thought I would mention it. Does always seem strange that someone would potentially pay £500 maybe for a puppy, yet not spend the £10 on getting a dog chipped!
