I understand this found cat was indeed Cookie and he was reunited with his owners this afternoon - update on the original link below.

Welcome home Cookie :) xx

Bit of a longshot as the person who has sighted thinks the cat may be pregnant female, but this cat might be worth checking out - been hanging around in the Clockface area for a couple of weeks?

Try cooking some food that Cookie cant resist, as the smell may tempt him back. Put some sardines in his food dish, and tap it whilst you are calling him. He may be being fed by someone else. Put something with his scent on, place in a container, and leave in a dry spot in the garden; put something in with your scent on too. Take DL advice, and put small "Lost" posters through doors, in your are, and where he used to .live. Neutered cats tend to have a small territory too. Not nice to mention I know but have you contacted the Highways? Just in case. He may hnave a little injury, and is hiding in bushes or suchlike, as my cat did once, when she got really stuck in a plastic bag round her body; she was okay. Ask people to check sheds, and garages etc. Good luck. Keep us posted
