They are more likely to let him go or try to sell on...do monitor dogs for sale on the dog selling sites.

He was stolen by kids my neighbour said then 1 of the kids rang dog warden as his parents said he couldn't have him an a man then pulled up in a blue Audi and asked if he would like to bread him he told the man he wasn't his dog and he was waiting on the dog warden so the man said I know who's dog it is and took him. Police was involved but dropped it when the young lad told him this the police officer at the time told me he was gone and there was no point keep looking x

Hi Jamie, you state that 'the people that stole him knows what type of dog he is and that police would be involved as he was on the dangerous dogs registar'. Do I understand correctly that you suspect someone local stole him as they had correct info regarding Neo? Do you think he is still in the Bolton area? If so it would be worthwhile putting posters up in the hope that the thief has relaxed his guard after two and a half+ years and someone in the area might recognise him when he is out on walks.

Yes the stolen date is correct. Only just foun out about this site last night so imediately posted him on. I have been a little aprehensive to be advertising him as the people that stole him knows what type of dog he is and that police would be involved as he was on the dangerous dogs registar. With it being so long they might of thought if lost hope in looking for him so try to sell him I've been keeping my eyes open everyday for the past 3 years and nothing. I thought id try my luck and start to post him hopefully 1 day he will be reunited with his family. We had him 6/7years before he was stolen we took him from a man who was beating him and kept him locked in a shed, me and my dad reformed him I got my own place and took him with me he was in the yard a few hours while I was shopping came home he was gone with the lock on my gate broken, police was involved I've reported him stolen to microchip and everyone eles still nothing :(
