- Other Info Owner says he is a lovely dog and he has been very good natured around his children. He has been used for ratting. 2 years old smooth coated Patterdale Ok with other dogs. Obviously no cats.

- Just wanted to say that people circumstances sometimes change and they are unable to keep their dog. But at l;east this owner is responsible enough to try to find him a new home rather than just sadly dumping them like so many others do!

- What about Patterdale rescue? There must be one and normally breed rescues are the best at taking their breeds. Main stream are really full at the moment but you have some good ones in that area..... just hope they have space

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
