Robin's View
Many thanks Milly's mum. It was kind of you too to find the owners of the poor cat you found. Unfortunately, where I found the poor cat, young children are walked everyday to school, so I don't really want to cause any upset, especially if the cat is theirs. I've listed the poor mite on several online sites, so hope this may help.

Robin's View - what you did was so kind and caring and something I did myself a while back. 'Fortunately' the deceased beauty I found was chipped and so she was able to be reunited with her owners and for them to have closure. But before taking her to the vets to be scanned, what I'd done in the meantime was to put up 'Found Deceased Cat' posters close to where I found 'my' little girl and so wonder whether you might be able to do the same. The puss I found had 'travelled' through the back gardens and was killed on a nearby road a few streets away from home. RIP little black moggie xx

Many thanks for your kind message janiejewel. I have 9 indoor cats myself, so couldn't possibly leave the poor mite, like all the other motorists. I must admit it broke my heart. I gave all mine extra cuddles when I got home that night and thanked my lucky stars that my cats are indoor cats.

Robin`s view. Thank you for trying to help this cat, and taking him/her to a vet to look for an Id. This mjust shows the importance of having your pet microchipped doesn`t it? At least then the owner would have closure.

It was very sad, just wished I could have saved him/her. The poor mite was already at Rainbow Bridge when I found him/her. Just thought if I took him/her to the vets then they would be able to scan for a chip. They did a scan, but sadly no chip. I live in Halifax, but work in Cheadle Heath, where I found the poor mite on the way to work, so don't really have a way of letting people know, as I don't know the area very well. Run free little one!

So sad. Hope an owner can be traced. Run free at the bridge, dear Shimmer xxx
